The Challenge
The Mipatio residential complex in Leeuwarden does not aim to present itself as just an ordinary living environment. Their vision is to offer residents a highly exclusive and peaceful place. A space where everyone can not only find a home but also an oasis of peace and serenity. The biggest challenge was the creation of a unique covered indoor garden of more than 1.900 m², filled with natural elements. This space is designed to strengthen the natural connection with its residents.
The Creative Plan
Designing this unique indoor garden required a combination of creativity, innovation, and technical expertise. Every aspect of the garden, from plant selection to layout, was carefully considered to maintain and emphasize the natural ambiance. The nature-inclusive design is called ‘biophilic design,’ a true must if you want to bring the real outdoor feeling indoors. The use of exotic plants and tall trees evokes a sense of wonder and awe while also offering a warm and inviting space for residents. This feeling is further enhanced by the flowing walking paths that guide visitors through the diverse plant species.
The Result
Mipatio’s indoor garden has been transformed into a breathtaking green paradise, adding a unique dimension to the residential complex. The majestic trees and exotic plants create a sense of tranquillity and a connection with nature. The garden’s design contributes to the exclusivity and serenity that Mipatio aims to provide for its residents. It is not only a visual delight but also a place where residents can relax, immerse themselves in nature, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
