At Ten Brinke, we are proud to have played a central role in bringing HatchTech’s vision for their new headquarters to life. In collaboration with our partner Mobilane, we introduced the vibrancy of nature into a modern, urban workspace. By blending architecture and greenery, we transformed the interior spaces of the impressive Experience Centre into a living, breathing environment.
The Assignment
“To create a sustainable and circular office building that serves as an extension of nature.” This was the ambitious challenge posed by HatchTech, a task perfectly suited to our expertise, yet no less demanding, as every environment and taste is unique. Our mission was not only to incorporate greenery aesthetically but also to install two fully automated plant walls above seating areas.
Our Way To The Result
Working closely with designers and architects, we developed an integrated plan. Partnering with Mobilane, we tackled the technical complexities of fully automated plant walls with built-in irrigation systems. Throughout the building, from relaxation spaces to meeting rooms and workstations, the theme of green connectivity was key.
For each area, a bespoke plant selection was curated, designed not only to make a visual impact but also to promote a healthy and inspiring work environment. Robust yet playful, elegant yet modern, each plant found its place within the design, reflecting HatchTech’s unique vision.
The Result
The result is an Experience Centre that embodies HatchTech’s essence in every detail. The cafeteria, featuring striking LivePanel green walls, serves as a living piece of art and a central gathering point. In meeting and office spaces, thoughtfully selected plants create a green oasis that inspires productivity and connection.
With sustainably produced planters and creative greenery, we’ve crafted an environment that improves indoor air quality, optimizes acoustics, and enhances biodiversity within HatchTech’s walls. The natural green walls, combined with a carefully designed lighting plan, make the Experience Centre a radiant, welcoming space every single day.
This project demonstrates that when people, nature, and technology work as a team, we can create (work)spaces that are not only inspiring but also make the workplace an enjoyable and vibrant place to be.
